Spring has arrived, and with it a surge in businesses, real estate, and other types of activity in the Raleigh, Durham and the surrounding area. The March average numbers in the triangle region are stunning both buyers and sellers. While many people expected the real estate market to be in decline at the start of the year, these stats indicate otherwise. The market is struggling due to a shortage of inventory and an overflow of consumers eager to make deals. 

According to the Triangle Multiple Listing Service, There are 4,365 active listings with an average of 13 days on the market, and a home in the Triangle sells for an average of $447,436. Despite the fact that it is a seller's market, the Coley Group assists homebuyers through off-market listings and connections with other agencies.

Average days on the market: 9 days (down 40%)

Average sales price: $518,012 (up 18%)
