Gretchen Coley Named President of Southeast Women of Compass

Gretchen Coley, with more than $1 billion in sales volume, is named President of the Southeast division of the Women of Compass initiative.

RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA March 8, 2022 — Compass Real Estate, the leading agency in technology-enhanced residential real estate, announced today that Gretchen Coley of the Coley Group would lead the southeast region of Women of Compass. Gretchen is joined by Cassy Pierre of Compass Atlanta to serve as co-president of the new collaborative initiative.

“It’s such an honor to lead such an impressive group,” Coley said. “We are so excited to bring women together across the Atlanta, Charlotte, and Greater Raleigh regions to promote diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.”

The Women of Compass initiative was established in 2016 by three Compass women across various departments. Open to all agents, administrative, and supporting staff members, the program was started to establish a collaborative and inspiring environment within the company. 

“It has always been a passion of mine to support female entrepreneurs,” Coley said. “As wives, mothers, employees, and business owners, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and isolated. By surrounding ourselves with other women walking similar paths, we can find inspiration and motivation to accomplish our goals.”

Upon Compass' expansion into North Carolina just last year, Gretchen was honored with the title of Founding Agent. Driven by a passion for providing exceptional service, Gretchen has successfully closed over 1,800 homes and is among the top 1% of agents in the Greater Raleigh area.
